With Jayfoot Barewalk about to end at turn 2500, I've decided to start yet
another one of my monster sized
games. Details are below. I know this will not answer everyone's questions,
so plesae feel free to email me.

My current news server keeps messages for about 48
hours. Damn roadrunner service, but it's 22.50 for the
first 3 months.

Four Corners - Yet another monster game from SuperXdude

Players: 16
Size: Huge/Packed
Skill Level: Any, although I'd prefer newer players who want to get their
feet wet
with a large game.


1. There is one large clusters in each of the four corners of the universe.
Each cluster will have around 230 planets in it.

2. Players will not start with a homeworld, instead starting in orbit of a
planet.

3. Each player gets 10 SFX/Scouts, 40 Privateers/Colony Ships, and 40 Large
Freighters to start with. The cargo holds are filled with a mix of Colonists
and Germanium to help speed your race to a new start.

4. There will be four players per corner, and sixteen players total.

5. Victory Conditions - One player may win by effectively controlling two
clusters. You can ally with another player or players, (up to 4 per
alliance, hence one cluster vs another) but only one player may claim
victory. This might lead to some cool backstabs. Control of a cluster is
officially defined as: Having 100 planets colonized with starbases in the
cluster you are attempting to colonize.

6. A few things to keep in mind for this game. This will be a long game. I
guarentee it. When designing your race, choose LSP. Since you are starting
in space, it's free points. The only race restriction is no AR.

7. To set the game up, I'll be having a 3rd party generate and set up the
universe. A non passworded racefile for the 2.7J RC 3 patch will be
required.

8. I'll have a sample universe genned and can send via email if you want a
glimpse of what the universe will be like.

9. Above all, the game will be genned forward until all players have tech
8-9 in all areas. This allows all races to load a good supply of pop and G
and then head off into space. I'll be having a 3rd party decide who goes to
what cluster.

10. Only thing allowed is Chaff, all other cheats/features are banned.
And while alliances may be formed during the game, there are no pre game
alliances.
