 Well, its been a while since I've actually hosted a game...

How about this:

Fahrenheit (2)451

This game has a turn limit, 2451 will mark the end of the game.

A ranked game for Intermediate Players.

8-10 players: Intermediate Level
Universe: Small/Normal, Distant Starting Positions
Starting Conditions: ACC/BBS, No Random Events, Slow Tech Advances
Turn Frequency: First 20 turns, 1 per day, Negotiable afterwards.
Alliances: No Pregame alliances, alliances are acceptable during play but highest scoring player will win game.
Race Restrictions:
Race restrictions:
CA and PP Banned
HE can not be -F!!!
Joat can not take NAS and must set 50 points to defenses.
IT can not take IFE and must leave 50 points set to defenses.
SD must set 50 points to defenses.

The Host (me) will not be playing.
Please send password protected races and password to

 Interesting game! Only 51 turns, and at a fast pace... 2 month game! Combine the short length with slow tech advances and some very tough research decisions will have to be made.

I fear that such a short game with score victory might favour high growth -f HE a little much, since it is both fast and scores well in early game... But we'll see.

If I wasn't juggling Shocked three Shocked games already, I'd definately jump in this one.

 For the holidays i would slow it down so it waits for all submissions before genning... (say 168 hours autogen)

 OK, I'm interested in playing this one now. Had TWO games end last weekend Very Happy

What are the numbers so far? Quick game like this shouldn't take long to find players?

I like the idea of a game that is even faster to play out than some duels Very Happy

 Its very puzzling...

I expected this game to fill up quickly as well,
I have had no mail concerning the game,
No race submissions, however, as you can see there have been about 4 players expressing interest.

Anyway, please, if you are interested in a quickie Smile drop me a line or post...

I just signed up for autohost recently and havent played in any games here. So I would consider myself a novice (though I did play a lot with friends many years ago). However, there dont seem to be many new games starting so I'm up for giving this one a try.

I will try to get a race submitted tonight.

Well going back through the posts here I see the following are interested in (2)451...

1. Dogthinkers
2. iojho Race is OK
3. jscoble
4. Andreas
5. ccmaster Race is OK
6. lotof0 Race is OK Smile
7. fouraces Race is OK
8. Aziriphale Race is OK
9. jjstre Race is OK

We could still use a couple of players for this game, but those of you who have indicated interest should send me your race/pw. I would imagine it could start soon if people would just move Smile

maybe it would be interresting for this game to play with open score from the year 20 so you could see how is in the lead and play
like that .

Sure, there is room, and yes, set your password, but let me know what it is... I am setting up the game and will check the races but will not be playing Smile
