Hi!

I'd recommend "Distant" starting positions. "Farther" apparently can lead to more or less unfair distributions of HWs.

Are you sure you want a relatively slow start (AcBBS *not* checked)?

No restrictions on races?
You're going to see a lot of CAs...
Shocked

Regards

AE

Hm, what about "cheats"? And pre-game alliances? Will this be a solo win, regardless of diplomacy? Sherlock

Fine by me, but perhaps you should make things clear in the game ad. Rolling Eyes

The honourable Lieutenant is right on that point. You're not going to find a lot of players willing to jump into a game without the basic setup and conditions being clear. Maybe you could have a look at some of the other game-announcement to see what is meant.

Indeed. Players willing to expend the generous quantities of free time and effort needed for this kind of game will hardly jump to it without cautiously considering all its angles. Whip

Make things clear, make the game worth it (for example, by using "Distant" to avoid the likely unbalances introduced by "Farther" and banning ALL cheats except "Chaff" and possibly "Split Fleet Dodge"), and I might be the 1st to join. Rolling Eyes

Also, 30% of the galaxy is for sissies. I'd say 50% should be the bare minimum. Twisted Evil
