Production of IS-10 powered Zaidzev ships begins this year. Hopefully I will get W15 ty so that I can get Vladimir production under way too.
Unfortunately, all my shipyards are some distance from the Hal/Ship Shape front.
Also, I will probably be able to field only about half the numbers that Pak can since I have less resource & the ships are more expensive.

2489: more great news
* Finally Hyaks managed to conquere Narn HW Putty and Sodium.
* Spoo minefields in centre and east are eroding quickly since Hyaks extravagantly hunts my small minelayers with BBs
Actually this is rather good for the Spoo. The Hyaks are too slow and inefficient this way. Attacking planets with no less than 138 mini-bombers isn't the most efficient thing, either, while other combat fleets of BBs lack bombers to do any real damage.
Nevertheless the Spoo will loose several planets in the centre, some in the east and the worst: won't be able to support the Pak'ma'ra in time. As usual the rather vast distances within the Spoo territory lead to approx 5 years of needed time to assemble a combat fleet... which means around 2493.

2490: desasters and victory
* Pak'ma'ra achieved a major victory at Inside-Out: shooting down no less than 29 Hyak BBs and 21 OAs!!!
* Spoo planet Abrams lost: it was a neat trap aimed to shoot down the attacking bombers but unfortunately the Drakh missed their turn and thus everything turned against the Spoo instead of the enemy. While Abrams is still heavily populated and defended, the planet is nevertheless lost due the the Hyak OAs which have brought down Abrams to -4% with the usual consequences for the efficiency of defenses and ressources. There was only one try to shoot down the enemy bombers.
* Vanguard Hyak fleet of 12 BBs attacked Spoo Kosciusko and lost 5 ships
* Spoo planet Kan under siege by 25 Hyak BBs: once again minefields weren't able to stop the Hyak ships who probably have made a pact with the devil in exchange for invulnerability against mines.
* Ipsha attack poor small Minibari at Knob
* Shadows attack Pak'ma'ra in orbit of Spoo Pantagruel or was it the other way around?
* no fight about shadow weap-16-lamb initiated (again)

Where should that have happened and what is not going like it should be?

Where: Quark, Continental, Scotch and Elephant Ear
Might be several things: lambs not showing up or without attack order.
I've already some Red Pirates in transit to replace my scouts there but they'll need another year to arrive.

Quote: | Hm, IF lambs showed up, you should have gotten a message like: "battle in orbit but your forces were not involved"? Or is that only when you own the planet ...

I recall having seen such messages for the Drakh or Llort several years ago. Spoo were involved via battle, probably due to the Centauri.
But since several years: nothing. Drakh, Llort, correct me if you still get the message about battles you weren't involved in.

I was getting those messages but they have now stopped. Drakh have some RPs set to default BO & others at Armed/Any/Ratio/Shadows - the latter appear to still work. eg. if you check Drakh's turn you will find that a battle occured at Delta Delta Delta which included both W16 & C12 lambs.
Can anyone tell me what determines the order of battles? Maybe it's possible to participate in Shadows + others if Shadow W-L battles occur first (I recall that that did happen on at least 2 occasions in the past - maybe because those sites are at planets whereas the other sites are in space).

The planets Hal & Hollywood are safe this year since there are no VA torp ships or chaff & insufficient firepower to defeat the right bases.
602Kt B-52s are pouring thru the WH south of Evergreen, 15 this year. I would really like to know the design. There are 8 more of them just west of Mayberry headed north - anyone in a postion to ping them?
Looks like a warp 10 attack by the Pak "stuck" fleet against the Hyak would've worked. I expecting them to move out of range completely since they knew your ships are warp 10.

Damn, everything worked out as planned at Humus except a small mistake with the chaff-battleorders and everything... in vain. Grrr, could had gotten all the Hyak-bombers.
Not sure why the Narn DDs shot down the Minibari at the Llort-W/L-sites. Were they newly transfered to the Narn? They still had default battleorders (which still doesn't explain it)? Changed battle orders. Narn have excess RPs in the area, so 4 RPs will be transfered to the Minibari at the Llort W/L-sites.
