 now that it is weekend, and i have some time, i will go through and send all the II races to Ptolemy. As I do this, I will send everyone an email to let you know where to send your passwords so Ptolemy can verify races.

 After some five or six years, I found the box again and would like to see if I still remember any of this stuff.

Is number II still open?

Btw.... I'm not up to speed on cheats. I have looked but not found "the ultimae cheat list". Some are obvious, but some are debated. What is the cheat list you use?

You can find a list with cheats/bugs/features in the Must Know subforum, in the topic: Known Bugs (JRC3) - Player Exploitable Bugs / "Features".

If you see a game with "standard cheat disclaimer" it's referring to that list, most of the times with chaff and "split fleet dodge" allowed.

 Dethdukk's racefile was corrupt, so we have to wait on him to send a new file. You can pm Ptolemy with your passwords, if you wish, but i can't set up the game until Dethdukk sends me his uncorrupted racefile..

hmm, i wonder if Wumpus's tool would work for this??

There's a bug with changing race name after the race is saved. IIRC it can be changed only by one letter at a time. Try to rename race imediatelly after you create it. If you still can't get rid of it, you probably can send Ptolemy the description of your race and he will create it for you.

Sorry I went awol

I had a family emergency. I ended up having to fly to Europe to pick up my mom, who had been in hospital for 3 weeks.

She is fine though. Everything turned out ok. (except flying to Europe for just 4 days was a bit of a chore. Still a nice visit with family though.)

I'll keep my eyes open for the next game. If version problems persist in this one, I am available.
