RGCS has 73100 messages in it and it's not as old as the game. Users are not registered so I cannot tell how many participated ever, but that would also let aside the lurkers who are many. I would guess that in total over 1000 participated. I think this is the biggest forum on Stars! that ever will be (unless Supernova comes out, and even so), and one of the biggest for any computer game.

It's quite a priviledge to see a Star slowly getting old. Normally it would take many many life times Wink

YucaF

There are some nice thing about smaller forums. You can actually keep up on threads without living online. You will recognize names once in a while! You will actually get to know people! Okay, maybe that's not such a great one. Very Happy I personally like smaller forums.

Hi, I'm Hetzer a poor, pitiful, weak and feeble-minded old man (ask anybody). You've forgotten the best part. After we get to know people we can then eradicate every last trace of their pestiferous and verminous race from the galaxy Bounce

(See, I knew that I picked up that gauntlet for a reason) (beams)

This being the case I was wondering if you might find it in your heart to indulge a drain-bamaged personage in a small packed acbbs no PPS Verkers Mod duel with say a 20yr jump just to get the ball rolling nicely? Angel

And to add a bit of spice to the game if you lose, I'm gonna follow you home, rape your house, pillage your wife and burn your dog down to the ground (said in a tone of utter and sweet reasonableness).

("Hetzer".........yes?.........."Are you sure you got that last bit right?"...........hmm...(counts on fingers while muttering to himself)..........yes, I'm positive (look of relief) it's 1st rape, then pillage, then burn.) <bad, wicked, evil grin>

If you can't trust me, who can't you trust?

Well.................If you're brave enough to disagree with me I am forced to assume that you're brave enough to duel me as those sounded like fighting words to me (MWAHAHAHA).

Unfortunetly, not all new users stick around, or even confirm their registration. If they don't confirm their registration in 24 hours, their account is automatically deleted, BUT I think it is still counted toward the total number of users. A bug probably, in the forum software.
