I think mouse has to go in decade or two ... Microsoft has already stopped to make them? Mouse was first hardware Microsoft sold ... now it sells X-Boxes.

As for touch-screen ... marketing tricks. Applause to video maker, some fat guys watch and buy shares now. Nod

First time i programmed for touch-screen was over 10 years ago. Touch-screen back then was expensive so app was for specific narrow market. Finger is big, that makes very strict rules about minimum size of ui elements. Troublesome because screen was small. Operating system did support it only at very low level. Confused But ... things are probably evolved meanwhile.

Developing intuitive multiple simultaneous gestures handling UI is still hopefully far less simple than to develop handful "button-was-clicked-with-mouse" event handlers. Very Happy I love all new things to ask money for.
