Hello,
I have a stars! registry number but after downloading the game I get the following message:
16 bit Windows Subsystem message
D:\Windows\System32\Autoexec.NT the system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft applications.
I am running windows xp. I did upgrade from windows 98se and played stars! on windows 98. I upgraded and recently wanted to play stars! again but now get the above message.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have tried to locate from faq's and other sites a solution.

If you don't have your xp cd handy you can usually also copy the needed files from c:\windows\repair
If this fixes the problem temporarily, but it reoccurs later then repeat the process but make the files read only as well.
