I've started a new Stars encyclopedia at:
http://darkcluster.com/starpedia.php
The entries are incomplete (I've only just done Anti-matter generator). But initial suggestions are welcome.
I will try to finish as time permits. Navigation is basic at the moment.
If anyone is able to provide better graphics (some e.g. orbitals are not customised).
Comments feature will be enabled in future to allow discussion of items.

For the orbitals all you should need to do is edit them and add text - for instance the Mass Driver 10 just needs a '10' in it. Same fo the gates - 150/600 as text inside.
Shouldn't this topic be in the FreeStars section?

Actually, all the graphics are you are using are the graphics ForceUser has done for the FreeStars project. If you want the graphics Stars uses, it is easy enough to take them from the Stars! exe file. The Borland resource workshop can copy them out. If you want the Stars! graphics instead I can package them and mail them to you sometime this week.

Many utilities have been created to use with Stars! over the years with many of them duplicating parts of the race creation wizard or map. These have never been a copyright issue since they are only useable with the game itself. This Starpedia certainly falls into that category since, without Stars! the Starpedia has no function. Since you are providing it for free, it is simply an information add on to Stars! itself. I don't think there will be any copyright violation problems.

Another thing you need to do with this is put a note at the bottom of various items that are race specific indicating the restriction (i.e. MD 8 NOTE: Requries Packet Physics Primary Racial Trait) etc.
