Well, I have not done a H/P remapped game in almost two years. I think I have the time now, so I want to get one more mega-game
started. Probably my last. Sad Sad Sad

Anyway, I was thinking of Center Warz II. Some of the old hats here played in CW 1(Alien, LEit, Overworked). This time, no IT, not even for LEit. Think of a 3,000 x 3,000 galaxy with 4 clusters of stars on each side, and a small cluster of 10-15 planets dead center.

He who holds the center for set # of turns(method and time TBD) wins.

This would also be using my "AFON" start. (40 Privateers, 40 LF, 10 SFX). I may even be able to have someone move HWs. Think of having those ships on turn 1. Cool

Post if interested. Flame if not.

I'm not sure if this is going to follow the standard AFON start or not, but that has generally been tech 8 across the board (for the LFs and SFXs) and 1 million pop (even if you have a 3% growth rate). ARs make that a bit harder, ISs shouldn't, as long as the freighters are filled to capactiy, IS won't grow.

The game I was in, everyone started in orbit of a world, but there was no guarentee that the world would be habitible.

With Map2XY and cost-0 setup, some of this may change, some things are easier with those. Also, the HWs should be divided evenly between the teams if possible.

I reckon I might be interested, depending on the turnout. Sounds dauntingly vast, but the clustering should keep it a bit more under control...

I'll be posting final rules for this. Last time I checked, we have some 13 people interested.

I am looking at a team game. If not team, then it's up to each group of players on the map to work together, loosely work together, or kill each other then ask quetions.

Insanely busy with work lately. Not to mention, trying to get the Billion Nubian March to at least 10% status. (at 5.6% right now).
