Anyone use Skype or SJPHONE or any other VOIP software?
I don't think Skype is SIP compatible, but it does off encrypted communication between Skype users.

Yup. I'm on Skype as giblefog, and also have an old, free (also as in beer) copy of PGPFone. on my website Very Happy

Theoretically I have netmeeting installed too tho I haven't gone looking for the .exe file for awhile. Lets not forget the new MS Messenger too.

And if I didn't use an old Trillian some of the other IM's might do VOIP for me too.

Edit:Thought I should mention that none of the VOIP's I've tried work terribly well on my 56k dial up...though that may just be that I've now got 3 networked PC's hanging off it...it used to work fine Confused

Is there any chance we could have maybe a Skype (or related VoIP prog) icon alongside the gfx for MSN, AIM, etc?

Would that be useful?

It would be neat, but would have to be a custom coding job as its not included in FUDforum source code.
