Never played a game with the ED. Just wondering. If there is 1 ED and it leaves the battle early (e.g. has 2.5move and chicken orders) do all ships speed up again?

If an energy dampener is present at the start of a battle, the field generated by the energy dampener stays in effect for the entire battle regardless of whether the ED ship is destroyed or leaves the battle early.
