Been a long time since we had a shuttle launch.
Can't say how much I hate that this inherently dangerous activity, space exploration, gets shut down whenever someone dies. I mean, it's not that I don't feel for those lost, it's just that they wouldn't want the program shut down. Every astronaut knows what they are doing is dangerous, every one of them knows they could die, and yet they go up and out knowing this. That's courage. That's drive. That's dedication. And to waste their sacrifice by trying to make the whole process flawless is not only foolish it's insulting to them.
But well, rant over.
It is excellent news!
