No cheats. Chaff & split fleet dodge are okay.
No pregame alliances.
No replacement of players.

hey. i would like to play, but i have never played an PBEM before. please tell me what file to send and i will send it. also, what is the turn frequency? one a day or other?

Turn frequency will be 24 hours to start (Monday - Friday; no weekends)

It can be slowed to Monday Wednesday Friday later if players want.

I think Ash is off on holiday now, so you *may* not get a reply to this one for a while... Wink

From what I gather though, the universe will have the same parameters, but will have randomly determined geography - ie not a carbon copy of the Newbie Challenge 1, 2, or indeed, 3, universe...

What is the whole idea with "Watcher" races anyways? I know in Newbie Challenge I, I saw a Watcher scout running around, but now she has set herself to "inactive". Is it just to get an idea of peoples' positions and empire sizes before the real fighting begins?
