With the time zones and busy schedules, its almost impossible now to coordinate turns.

Can we slow down.... please??

I'd like to slow things down a bit (things just got interesting for me), but I can live with the current pace if I have to.

I'm in favor of slowing down as well.
2500 might be a good time to slow down the gen.

I have been playing this game for the past 30 moves and apart from the first week when we had holdups, this has been a well-hosted game. Ptolemy - Our thanks.

I have not seen the turn gen request refused by the host and to be frank, I have not seen a 'majority' of players ask for a schedule change either. It is not fair to insinuate that the host has refused the request of 'most' players.

Whatever the game gen rules said at the start, I believe that if a substantial number of players are not able to play their turns properly, then it is time to consider a change in gen schedule. Inability to play turns properly will affect the game integrity and also makes Stars! less fun. I think there are 4-5 players having problems submitting turns and that is a good number for us to relook at the turn gen.

Well, if we do have a majority requesting a slow down then I am willing to look at alternate schedules. However, I would like to see us able to get in 4 turns a week if possible. So, I would suggest Mon, Tue, Thur, Sat as a possible slow down. An alternative would be Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri.

If we REALLY have to go to 3 turns a week then we are going to use Sun, Tue , Thur NOT Mon, Wed, Fri.

Hi all

I wouldn't mind a slow down but can live with things the way they are for now.

Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday if we go to 3 turns/week yes please it will be a 1st for me in all the games I have played actually having a weekend off completely Very Happy .

I'll vote for Sun-Tue-Thur (3 turns) but will be quite happy with a 4 gen week as well. I can even cope with the current schedule, though I'll probably miss the odd turn.

Lets go with 4 turns - Mon, Tue, Thu and Sat.

The game has been moving quickly thanks to the 5 turn/week gen and 4/week will not cause a major slowdown while giving some of us enough time to spend on other RL activities.
