Totally un-Stars! related...
I know we've got a handful of Amsterdam residents on the forums here, so I thought I'd ask a question of them. Not a particularly important question, just one that "came up".... 
I was feeling a little "homesick" yesterday, so I found the URL for a live streaming webcam situated in Koningsplein.
Not a particularly interesting shot area, but a good spot to see people going about their daily business (and trams, bikes, etc..  ).
This morning, there was a guy with a big green basket on his bike, dressed in a yellow jacket, handing out free newspapers.
Now in the UK, if you see somebody trying to hand out free newspapers, leaflets, etc. you cross the road to avoid them. It doesn't matter if the road is busy, dangerous, or on fire, you'll want to avoid that free paper. DO NOT under any circumstances make eye contact... he/she may understand this as a sign of interest, or, worse still, may assume you are trying to make friends with him/her.
However..... these mad people in Amsterdam were going out of their way to grab the newspapers. Quite often, executing dangerous manoeuvres on bicycles, to gain possession of the freebie, like some kind of extreme sports baton race.
My question is this - what is this newspaper that seems to appeal to all ages and classes? Why is it so special? Am I missing out?
