I wanted to do a fun themed game, and I think I found one that seems interesting, and downright psychotic.

Players: 8+
Universe Size: Large+
Density: Dense

Players Must Be Super-Stealth (mwahaha)
All SRT's are allowed... looking for diversity here.

Alliances are allowed, and even encouraged. Especially being allied with two people who are at war, if you play your ships right, is encouraged.

NPPS, AccBBS

Last Man / Acknowledged Team Standing Wins.

I want to play, so can I find someone to run the game for me?

Sounds like fun, id be willing to join in also (makes a change from using my normal PRTs Confused but worth a go)

I'm interested. I love SS. My only concern, other than the time suck this game always involves, is what constitutes a team for victory conditions. Does the team need to declare itself at some point as going for a team win? How large can the team be?

I prefer Last Man Standing, but that almost never actually happens and I have become very discouraged by the lack of Machievellian focus on winning, so maybe a game that encourages alliance wins will be better.

Given the game parameters, Large/Dense/8+ players please be sure that all involved are aware of and committed to a long game.

I'm working on a race now.

I have been trying to think of teams, and I'd say they can be no larger than 3 players, and must be announced by turn 50, publicly. By this time, everyone should have a good grasp of who their friends are. It may make backstabbing harder, but not impossible. Wink

Or we could have random player numbers and have the teams set either randomly or by player number:

eg.

8 players:

2 teams of 4 - eg 1-4 & 5-8
4 teams of 2 - eg 1,2 & 3,4 & 5,6 & 7,8

9 players (IMO would be better - 3x3 teams):

3 teams of 3 - 1,2,3 & 4,5,6 & 7,8,9


Since random player numbers, would not give the advantage to certain players (eg ranks 1,2,3 in one alliance) - would also add for the challenge of working with who you are drawn with Wink

I like this.

Would we know in advance which players are on what team, before races are submitted, or no?

the player numbers will be random, so until the game is created, you wont have a clue who your allies are Twisted Evil
