Hey there, I've only recently started playing Stars! so am still getting used to alot of the option sand stuff. I've learned a bit from Freakyboy, but I was wondering if you had any tips for players new to the game. Thx

Players new to the game should first read Stars! Strategy Guide.
For any consequent questions: Stars! FAQ
And then ask a bit more specific questions. I'm sure people will answer those with much pleasure.

Apart from reading the Strategy Guide, I would suggest that your strategy around expansion, diplomacy, ship design tactics, etc, should flow directly from your race design. Start with an overall concept, design your race around that concept, and play true to that concept.
Basic advice, so I hope you can get something from it.
Good luck, and welcome to Stars!
