Hi!
Having some more free time I'd get into a new game - a real challenge this time . No dropping newbs, no alliances, minimum diplomacy etc.
Proposed parameters (not fixed!):
- last man standing or consensus;
- about 30 planets per player / densest possible uni, 6-12 players;
- all enemies from the start, no NAP;
- diplomacy only through in-game messages, 1 message per turn;
- tech trade allowed only for players of the lower half score table;
- all PRTs allowed, but mandatory left RW points: AR 50, SS&PP 100, WM&HE 125, SD 137, IT&IS 150m, JOAT 175, CA 200.
- no AccBBS start to allow more diverse designs, all minerals on HW > 50;
- first two years gen normal, next 8 turns will be 2 or 3 years;
- game on AH, 5 turns per week until slow-down request for 3 turns, holidays off.

We can discuss other settings like tech costs to make game less an usuall ARM/Nub race.

I'd really like to get at least 8 players, and a neutral host, to avoid playing-host disputes. No time pressure, we'd start when there would be enough of us to make it a real challenge.

Whatever you want. This is not a "primitive" game.
With more diversity I had in mind HPs and HE PRT as well. However, be warned . Competition will be though here . Just a single design flaw could make you a prey instead a contender.

So far I have 4 interested, 3 here and one by e-mail. Please think about this game when your current one is over.

If that was directed at me, my last game has been over for a while. We ended up with real life (weddings, etc) issues and then likely the bulk of micromanagement meaning not much enthusiasm for fighting in the end.

I was an HP HE with 1/3 of the galaxy (90 planets) and growing, giving me the win since no final big war. (Just a little skirmishing).

Only experienced players sounds great... how do you plan to tell if someone is "worthy" and will not screw up the game?

Several times I had players who considered themselves "experts" and turned out to be quite inexperienced...

Do you have a list of players already in?

Just for clarification: if one hasn't won at least one game with better-than-intermediate players, then he doesn't fit in this game.
Also, I have the feeling our community is small enough to tell who wouldn't be appropriate. Besides, I'll not accept unknown players!

Sounds ok for me - if you think I am worthy I would be interested

I have won several games lately and would consider myself experienced

If you ever find enough really good players I would love to play... but there is no need to hurry for me, I can wait.
