For hosts using a remapper, they should consider allowing players the chance to pick the name of their HW.
Here is how I would do it:
Every player sends a list of 3 names (all names must be from the standard Stars! planet names).
If there is a conflict, then both players with a conflict move to their #2, unless doing so causes a conflict that wouldn't be caused if just one went to #2.
Repeat till all conflicts are resolved.
If some one runs out of their 3, then they get the random name.
Map2XY will allow switching names, and has a list of the valid names.

hmmm, only one teensy problem - if you get bumped from your first choice of name, then you'll know that that star is somebody elses homeworld.

So, actually this means you'll know that that star is _not_ somebody elses homeworld. Not that big intel boost.

Maybe have each player supply 3-5 preferences and one is *randomly* chosen and applied if possible by the host.
