hi everybody.
sorry for the noob question, hope someone can help me out.
i'm playing my 1st human game, in a remapped universe. as i try to assign waypoints, the game acts like the ship is coming from "deep space" pretty far away from my HW. happens to every ship. restarting, reloading, other game versions, computer restarting, changing computer didn't help. currently using 2,7 jrc3. so what am i doing wrong? is it my problem or did something go wrong with the remapping? it sounds to me that the game still thinks that my HW is on it's old/other location... did anybody ever have such a thing? anyway to fix it?
thanks in advance.

The simplest way is to send all your fleets home... ie shift-click your fleets to your home-world, they will "arrive" there next turn irrelevant of the apparent distance and travel time.

It's an artifact effect of the remapping program. It will go away after the first turn for any ship you move. (Therefore, move them all, even if it's a right click move to the HW itself.)
You can treat all the ships as if they're at your HW in terms of moving them to other planets.

Err, ...
Some weird things happen at the far end of the quasi-waypoint...
I had one player invalidate his race by attempting to move from it to a planet which was at that end...
Also, I believe but am not certain that a fleet can get "cemented" into the far position if it happens to be scanned by another race.
Be careful... thats all I can say...

It is probably possible to make remapper that remaps the universe without such quirks but for doing that the developer should know how to change the *.m# files.
Current remappers i have seen modify only the .xy file.
