multilis and his silly newbie concepts there indeed

Multilis wins games with his silly newbie concepts. Have already been putting similar techniques into practice with players never met before game and races not tuned for job. Sometimes I have to email them a spreadsheet before they understand well.

The planets produce every single turn, even during exchanges. The IS pop grows in space. At most only 2 exchanges are needed.

Go look at the player list in Transformers. My silly newbie concept is being practiced there. It would all other major powers combining against me to bring me down now and due to human nature, and situation beyond the game that likely won't happen.

Multilis, if the SD had not been completely braindead, you would have been crushed. You know this quite, quite well if you're going to be honest with yourself.

The SD stopped three seperate fleets you had no hope whatsoever of stopping on your own.

Yes, you eventually won, because I was spending resources on warships that you didn't need to, and I was stifled in growth because the SD enveloped me in minefields and my skirmishing skills are subpar.

But this only proves that you can win with idiots helping you.

For you it seemed braindead indeed, but actually it was brainwashed by multilis. All these strange and complex and self contradicting sentences that multilis often say like: "-f can be HP. Go figure it out." are meant to damage his victims wiring. After that he brainwashes them in the darkness. Very Happy

No Sotek I would not have been crushed. I fought the entire CFLKIAB game against a stronger opponent, a JOAT who I had to throw 3 times as many warships at to slowly gain ground.

I had to give the SD my best early colony to get first minelayers. The minelayers I got were built with my own colony(s) mainly. Sort of like tech trading, I traded factories and mines for my help... the point I am making here of what is possible in a team game. And it was no suprise for you, I told you before you started war that I was trading with an SD.

If it was a 1 on 1 I would have instead focused on scout based minelayers and destroyer skirmisher/snipers and stardock defenders like my previous game. I would have even more to work with if I wasn't trading it but poorer tech. One can fight war low tech with enough numbers.

My HW was called Hydra and that was the plan. I would be a seven headed Hydra who could grow heads faster than you could chop them off.

You saw how fast I dealt with Aliens suprise SD help. HE has own bag of tricks. You didn't get to see them all as no need to show, no need to build more warships than needed to do the job (all become obsolete soon enough).

Your error imo was your approach. You as AR would hit a mineral slump even with those 500 extra mines. You made other neighbours mad/scared. You didn't hook up with Goober who was by hab and race design your most complementary race.
