I disagree. I was looking forward to fighting the whole universe against me. I was looking forward to seeing if I can hack apart enough of the universe to prolong my life before everyone kills me. I just claimed solo victory, and I'm not even in first. Surely that deserves a thorough beat down.

Well....that depends on if all major parties keep playing. Not much point if I'm the only one still in the game.

Poop.
It occurs to me that this is a less than optimal result. Not quite the level of opposition I was expecting. Though, now I've basically taken the last 2 turns off, basically submitting raw husks of a turn. I've realized it's kinda nice to take a break from the game....
My turns are starting to look like work at this point, having maxed out on available fleet slots, ship designs, and turn files topping out around 15kb worth of MM in the x files...
If I had a unified universe that, in theory should still be far more powerful than me, it might be worth it. Though, I'm starting to regret joining a game in a universe w/ so many planets. Starting to remember why I had sworn off anything larger than a medium sparse w/ 16 players a long time ago....
It may be time to end the game. Starting to think I need to get out and enjoy the summer a bit more.

I'm okay with this. If I were to go back to maxing out production, I could probably produce 100 beamers/turn. More missile boats, but for fewer turns unless I ramped up miner production again.
You could come close to matching my fleet in those 3 turns, but I am still producing a bit under 100 ships/turn. I figured you had something over 200k resources.
I could probably strike out a few of your worlds before you could really hit me. That would slow you, and give me a chance to establish some bases elsewhere to make up for the backlash that you would unleash for the next 10 years, claiming up to 10 of my worlds over 15 years time. These losses would be offset by blob and bolarian worlds. They would likely offset their own losses, given natural progression of game, by canibalizing the Ancients and Vintili worlds.
After that period things would be highly equalized...big gray area. Still, this game has about twice as many planets/player on average overall...the amount of management required per turn is insane to really run the game. To really complete a turn, I would need something closer to a turn/week at this point. I've again burned myself out on stars! for the next year or so. This happens every 15 months.
draw is fine.

Still growing quite a lot faster than me. I was growing at only about 3-4k/turn. Mineral supplies were around a 2 year reserve on most worlds. Some without.

Acually, I was incedably vulnerable- I'm glad the 5 year termination clause was there. If I had just been attacked, almost anyone could hav nearly whiped me out- my only warships were cruisers from ages ago, and only a hundred or so of them.
Good game to everyone! I'll see you in other universes, eventually.

You overestimate your vulnerability. There's only so fast that anyone can attack w/out risking catastrophic losses. Granted, I was probably using my ships far more conservatively than I could.
