Could use some help..

Hi, I play stars offline mainly but have occasionally wandered through this forum. My computer recently had a virus (managed to get rid of it now) but now when I try to run stars it gives me an error saying that stars.ini is missing from the windows directory. If somebody could email theirs I would greatly appreciate it(hopefully it will work)

Make sure it's deleted, then try to run Stars! again and see what happens. Someone else's .ini won't help you.

AFAIK, Stars! creates the stars.ini file if its not in your Windows directory.

Sorry the file was corrupted, not deleted, but I deleted it and like you said stars replaced it, thanks! Also, I notice that you guys all use 2.6j (correct), for me to use this version I'd have to get a legit serial but the link in the sticky topic seems to be selling them for 2.7.. would this work for 2.6?

Yes it will.

Essentially the 2.6/2.7 series are the same, except one is sans sound (I believe that is the only difference).
