Just thought of a crazy idea that might be fun.
A game where everyone pretends to be someone else who has been on Home World Forum in a spoof sort of way. So style, diplomacy, honour or backstab, etc would not be your normal but instead try to spoof the personna.
The host would make sure there as only one 'Ron Miller' race, etc., spoofed players would be taken on a first come/first serve basis.
We could even throw in a Greg Vaboob race who is given an early scrapped nub mineral bonus but could only be claimed by an early beginner player (who doesn't mind getting picked on).
Object of game would be as much having fun with the spoof as actually winning.

in Frigate Furball I ended up with over half under my control, though not "owned"... eventually handed off because there was just too much to keep track of.
Another game I can't recall the name of (I was WM, the Chazii) I overran everyone except an SS which eventually called a draw with me.
It really seems like, to me, my performance is getting successively worse with each game. Back in the old days I was someone to be scared of, not laughed at.
