 The problem is that after I have created a race, imported it into a game, and started the game it suddenly changes all of my "racial stats". And everytime I try to restart the game it just changes them into something new. Very annoying eventhough some of the races it makes are quite amusing to play. BUT NOT IN THE LONG RUN! Very Happy

Recreate the race in the wizard from scratch; i.e. "New Race" selection in the wizard. Or make sure you base it off a stable race like the Humanoids.

Somehow you got a race based off a "random" generated race initial template. Importing it makes it generate a new random race.

This bug/feature/problem has been reported before.

Ahh, the classic "Random Race" bug.

I got screwed in a game with this problem once. After the second restart we just gave up and ran with it. I lasted no time at all.

As was previously suggested, recreat the race from scratch, and NEVER EVER click on RANDOM.

Always create a new game with any race you design and verify proper race.

I've found I have to create a new game anyway, otherwise the race file will be corrupt. Not only that, if I open a race file to tweak a setting or two, it will corrupt it. Any tweaking has to be done by creating the race from scratch. Has anyone run into this bug before?

Are you changing the race name as well?

There is a known racefile corruption bug in JRC3 related to changing the racename (singular or plural) more than one character at a time. You can make a longer name no problem, but if you make the name shorter you need to shorten it by one character, save, close, re-open. Repeat.

 ^No, that's the odd thing. I'm aware of the renaming bug. It happens without renaming. Oh well, it's only a minor annoyance.

Same thing are happening to me right now in an multiplayer game. I guess it's going to be short and bloody. Poke
