Here's an idea for a game fow mentors and new guys.
-->Specifically arrange a 2v2 or 2v2v2.
-->Each team is composed of a advanced player and a begginer such as myself.
-->Races of team memebers should not be customised to one another, so that experienced learned here will apply to regular games.
--> Either A: The allainces are formed by what avanced player a begginner find, or visa versa. This prevents pregame junk.
--> OR B: The teams are prearanged but team member do not share info/tech/ect. until a predetermined turn. To make sure player can start a game while independence from relying on others for resources of any kind.
-->Adv player can teach beginner how to start off game. Such as planets to colonise, early tech, early buidling, design, ect. Requires Case B mentioned above.
-->The adv will have access to his/her begginer parter's turn files. For teaching purposes.
-->The Adv player can guide and teach the begginer diplomatic skills, stratigy, MM, design, cooperation and other practicle things while in game with one another, on same page constantly.
--> Also helps teams to be even, as far as possible anyhow, since it seems ranking is still under question. Providing a challenging and educational game, to both newb and adv player alike.
--> Other game specifics up for grabs, these being the core ideas/basic though.
--> Provides 1 on 1 tutoring for begginers, giving personalized attention, while yet having fun.
What do yal think? I think I'd enjoy this personally, just because I'd learn so much from a person helping me every step of the way. I'm fortunate Kotk has been helping thus far.
