Once you've got wine up and running there is no problem... however, changing over within say a day is highly questionable. I would suggest getting a second hard-drive and installing linux on it and the setting up a multi-boot system with both windows and linux for a while until you have your apps comfortably operating under wine.

Essentally copy protection is only checked for the current turn, so unless someone uses you serial on your windows box and you submit using that serial on your linux box, there should not be a problem.

However, If you are not familiar with the linux operating system, expecting to transform your os overnight to linux from windows would be a grievous expectation.

I suppose "Managed" = "N" would work as well, but leaving it as "Managed" = "Y" lets the splash screen come up in front of the Serial Number block.
