This may be very lame question but I have to ask it
When I set fleet destination, the cursor automatically jump to a planet or fleet when it gets near it. I mean if a planet is at X 2000 Y 2000 i cannot send fleet to a location X 1999 Y 2000 because my cursor jumps to the planet.
Well, the question is, can this be overriden somehow? I play stars for some time now, but never managed to archive such thing Still I believe this is possible, since I observe in game situations when fleet are very close to the planet or to each other. How to do that? ![Smile](images/smiley_icons/icon_smile.gif)
Or, is there another possibility rather than moving fleet one "point" from planet that could explain the situation below:
I am conquering a planet. I did not take scout with the fleet however (lame) so I expect there may be 98% (or even less) cloaked enemy ship(s) near the planet. I have laid 600 mines on the planet. Yet, the same turn, 599 mines from that minefield was sweeped (minefield was left on the planets with 1 mine). How could that happen?? Additional info: there were no fleets on the planet besides mine, no battle occured and the planet became unhabitated due to bombing in the year in question. It was the first year of the minelaying, so it was original minefield with 600 mines (those just laid).
