p.s.:never build small freighters, its like a big sign saying "newbie", always try to research medium freighters or, often better, privateers before shiping things around.

Very true.
In case you are wondering:
- When to use medium freighters: low iron concentration, high germ concentration, -f econ (you won't build factories so you'll have plenty of germ laying around), AR PRT (you'll need the iron for your pinta's and remote miners, but you'll probably won't use many of them since you're shooting for LF's)
- When to use privateers: high iron concentration, low germ concentration, HP econ (you'll need a LOT of germ to build all your factories)
