Y'know, I've always thought one of the *primary* uses for decoding Stars! own game files would be the recording/extracting and sharing of battle reports. Not just for bragging/showing off, but also to allow for some number-crunching which yielded useful "scores" for different ship designs and fleet mixes. Sherlock

Another use would of course be to allow for 3rd party "battleviewers" to be built and used. Cool
