The only time I saw it in a game was when Ken Mitchel hit that limit some years ago in the game Dark Ages 3. IIRC (?) it was not the size of the file (his was 38k), but the number of orders. He was playing a SD under attack of 3 races on about 500 LY front, and has worked on his turn for ~7 hours. Shocked

That's the game I remembered, thought it was the file size ...
