Great append. I agree it is better NOT to mess with Regedit but in this case it is safe if you do exactly what I had stated. It is much better to do it as described above by BlueTurbit with no Regedit involved. I can confirm it works the same for Win 2000 and Win XP. In this case follow BlueTurbit's instructions and when you get to the file type, highlight it by clicking on the file type, then hit the delete key. I was not able to find this easy method when I used Microsoft help.
