As a non-IE user. I have to admit that I have never had problems with sending .x, .h, and .p files using Mozilla (or Netscape for OS/2 for that matter). I do have to be careful when I am receiving a .x or .p file as an attachment in the web-mail program that I use becuase it will just open it into the browser if I simply click on the attached file. Instead I right click on the link to the attached file and choose "Save link location as..." have never had any problems that way.

As for the above post saying that you will lose the ability to see the file extensions once they are registered... I am using Windows 2000 and I have set my folder options so that "Hide known extensions" is not selected, so that I can always see the file extensions. If your file extensions are hidden you can always type *.x* in the file name portion of a file open or save dialogue to display all the .x files in a directory anyways.

Not sure if this will help you or not, just my observations.
