I played IT almost exclusively when playing against AI, and overgating is something I heard is quite overlooked by neophyte IT players.

With infinite/300 gates, you can often double the distance (600ly) and still gate the ships safely with only a light scratch. I remember gating above 600ly with such gates and the ships were only about 25% damaged..!

IT love overgating. Very Happy
