Exactly. To become an enemy of Wormgate is suicide. So anyone with any sense will avoid it at all costs. Eventually the smart one(s) will own the whole universe, except for the handful of worlds the wormgate owns.
Ship production will be limited by mins. Both (all) races will eventually have max tech. Wormgate will be outnumbered many to one.
Sure, a few races may fall, but once only one or two are left, they will colonize the galaxy without *any* wormgate risk (until they can easily defeat them, of course.)
Still an interesting and wonderful game concept. Races that are behind will use wormgates to jumpstart growth. It'll be a risk/reward scenario. I am just saying in the end, wormgate cannot win, unless the last two races take unwarranted risk.
