In effect, this means full large freighters can be effectively gated to any gate an ally has (almost) anywhere.

Which is it?? Distance or weight limits, which are only determined by the *sending* gate? Distance, iirc. So you can send a large freighter truly anywhere from a 100/any or any/any gate.
