hmmm... I searched msdn for both sub system insufficient resources and subsystem insufficient resources and got nothing even close to relevant, so I'm seriously skeptical there's anything in MSDN referring directly to the error. I'd love to be proven wrong as I've experienced this problem myself in the past. Sad

On the bright side I did manage to find one potential solution for you guys (using google.) It was for Windows 2000 but I've modified it to apply to XP. No idea if this will work, but it's quick and easy to try so please give it go:
1) Start > Run > regsvr32 slayerxp.dll
2) Right-click on the executable for your application and click Properties
3) Click on the Compatibility tab, and choose to run the app under Windows 95 Compatibility
