I didn't think I had changed the FONT settings with this distribution, and yes the player names are slanted and readable for me with those settings.

The things I do remember changing (besides the drive specifications and paths):

; Allow the window manager to manage created windows
;"Managed" = "Y"
; Use a desktop window of 640x480 for Wine
"Desktop" = "942x707"

Or has been pointed out you can use:
"Managed" = "N"

This sets my desktop window to a size just less than my screen size (1024x768), allowing room for my status bar and 1 row of icons.
