TIC TAC TOE

Game summary: The map is divided into 9 squares (3x3). To capture a square you must hold the planet which is closest to the center of a square. To win the game capture 3 squares in a row. A victory condition check will be made once every ten years (this gives the possibility for more than one race to achieve the victory conditions)

REGISTERED Version JRC4 Patch will be JRC4.
Turn generation: turns 1-20 every 24hrs, turns 21-80 every 48hrs, turn 81 and beyond - player vote for 48hrs or 72hrs.
Turns generated through Autohost
Universe size & density and players: 4-6 small normal, 7-9 medium sparse, 10-12 medium normal, 13-16 medium dense
Skill level: intermediate and above
Distant Player positions.
Accelerated bbs play.
Chaff & split fleet dodge allowed
No Public Player Scores
Random Events: Yes

Victory Conditions:

As stated above the map will be divided into 9 equal squares (3x3). To capture a square a player must have a star base (any type) in orbit at the planet that is closest to the center of the square. Capture three squares in a row (any direction) to win the game. To allow for the possibility of more than one player winning the victory condition check will take place once every 10 years. If, in a year ending with a zero, a player holds three squares in a row he/she can declare victory (verified by providing his turn file (and password) to the other players). Theoretically up to three players could declare victory at the same time (hopefully this will set up some interesting diplomatic possibilities) Rolling Eyes
