| Just a couple of questions |

I am playing in a non-autohost game at the moment. None of my questions are relevant at the moment, but it is things I have thought about earlier in the game. With 3 kids, I have made a policy of never testbedding anything in the game, but instead playing on intiution (and I am doing great by the way, rank 1 of 4  ) And anyway it is so much simpler just posting a question here than testbedding it, that way others will also get the answers too.
1. I could not find in the order of events, when scan data is generated. More specifically, when an enemy population on a planet is killed off entirely, either by bombing or popdrop, will he know what ships are in orbit? Eg if I popdrop With wp0, and then get reinforcements that I don't want him to know about at wp1, will he know?
2. Asuming Your fleet of ships get ambushed by a much larger fleet of ships, and only a few of your ships manage to disengage, and you know they will be dead next year because he will choose the remainding ships as target. What warp speed will their ship use? I mean, is it a viable strategy to get out of there at warp10 to try making a few kills by then making him pursue at warp10 without him willing it, and thereby making him lose 10% of his fleet to engine failures? Or will they allways pursue at max warp9 if his engines are not warp10-capable?
I think I have more questtions that I have thought about, but I don't remember them now, so these will do for now
