So what in the Stars does this mean?
the game is "only one other player may be set to friend, everyone else enemy" so you can't have an alliance of 3 or more players.
They submitted a turn after surrendering, so they are not just quitting?
So what do you do after you surrender?
What's the status of my NAP with you if you surrender to someone else. Since your no longer in control on your moves, you surrendered!!!.

I surrendered because although me and Val have held off the attacks from Centauri, I have long suspected that you have been biding your time and once you started building in a big way, my life would get very difficult. Also I have never played a vassal before, it might have been interesting...
I have also been fustrated by the rest of the universe's attempts to stop you and Cent (Valkillers excepted). It is a single race victory afterall, no points for 3rd!
I would just like to correct a couple of points you made, firstly, you declared war on me by pop dropping Uranium - I didn't start the war!
Secondly, Taka have opportunistically attacked me too, so I actually have three races to deal with, not just two!
I will give you your last battle and then bow out

I think it's a nice way of just saying "I'm dead, leave me alone"
On the other hand, he could also play it out like a vassal, a non allied cog who wouldn't obviously attack the bigger empire, who will now take over the best worlds they want, while the remaining worlds will be used by the player to stay in the game and attack the bigger empire's enemies.

Interesting statement I have discovered now. I'm blamed to be an "opportunistically attacker"
Jools, may I remind you, that YOU kicked me off as your ally - in a game, where 1 ally is possible only! So I remained alone without ally, because the other players had allies already or were newbies who didn't understand the sense of alliances or communication.
You wanted me to fight for you and your new ally but didn't want to give me any share out of possible benefits. As well YOU canceled our NAP later.
Do you really think it is alright to blame me an "opportunistical attacker" under this circumstances?
Without an ally I couldn't win in a game of alliances. Because of newbies and our less diplomatic skills the game seemed to be decided early. At least the winning alliance agrred into a NAP with me - under very fair conditions. They accepted that I DIDN'T want to take part in war AGAINST YOU, BUT YOU decided to see me as an possible enemy after I didn't want to be the enemy of your enemy - and YOU canceled our NAP.
At least YOU put me into the position where I'm now. If I would be a Vasall of Slim/Centaurian I would have the duty to attack you. But to attack you is not my duty, it's a kind of revenge - and - not like a vasall - I can keep the planets I conquer from you
Kind regards, Taka Tuka

So we are like in turn 69 and I haven't even had a battle that involves, like, 20 ships are so. I had, like, 1 good war, build a bunch of ships, and, like, won without even firing a shot .
So, I'm like, going to just keep doing what working so well so far. I have this NAP thingie with, like, three players, and I, like, honor the NAP.
But the thingie is, like, the best way for you to not know I'm doing, is, like, for you to not know what I'm doing. So I'm, like going to stop you from knowing what I'm doing.
I'm not, like, taking planets and destroying worlds, just like, a ship here and there.
Peace from In Pieces

Taka,
It seems that you have some anger issues...I can understand why, but I would like to point out to anyone else reading that I haven't done anything outside of our agreements, indeed I have always given plenty of warning of my actions and I also continued to give you tech even after I'd said I was planning to end the alliance.
Don't think I used the expression "Opportunistic attacker" with any malice, none was intended. For a long time I have suspected that Amazon/Centauri would be virtually unstoppable, so I needed to take some risks - which haven't paid off, but hey, I considered myself dead anyway! I suspect me and you differ becuase I would rather try and win and die than survive and accept third place.
Slim - I'm looking forward to the end of game thread, and we can discuss who started war with who etc. in lots of detail then. if you were wondering though, my ships were in space because all the gates in the area had been destroyed.

I want to confirm this. Everything was within the agreement and correct.

Thank you for warning, but what could I have done? There were no players left waiting for me as a new ally . You not gave tech only, you received tech by me as well. We just exchanged until the end of our alliance.

We together knew a long time ago that the game was almost decided after Nmid was eliminated and other alliances didn't want to go to war. As a single player without an ally I didn't have the tech to withstand. So I had the choice only to help you to withstand and maybe to win or to let Amazon/Centaurian win. I didn't want to help you without some benefit but you was thinking about me as a second class partner and didn't want to give me anything more and claimed nearly all Amazon/Centaurian planets for you and ValKillers.
Amazon/Centaurian agreed with me into a NAP and exchanged planets I wanted from you, in case "we" would win, with planets from my area. So at least I became the wanted planets without fighting for you .
As well Amazon/Centaurian accepted that I did not want to take part in their war with you and I did not want to attack you, as I agreed into a NAP with them.
I started to take part in war after you not wanted to accept that I not wanted to support you without benefit for me and you have canceled our NAP. At the same time you and Valkillers sent big fleets into my area without telling me they were for meeting the MT (you told me much later). After this I had no choice anymore .
I wonder that you couldn't imagine I could have an agreement with Amazon/Centaurian as you canceled our NAP. Or did you underestimate my tech too much and was thinking I would be conquered by you fast and easily? Or did you believe I would worry you too much that I would prefer to survive as your vasal?
Cu, Taka Tuka
