I got this idea as I am often surprised by how many "single player victory" games are won by an alliance of 3 or more players.
Standard game with no pre alliances (size based on number of players - ideally a lot of players).
End of Game victory points
Solo win - everyone gives up (3 points)
Dictator win - your group of players win (others give up) AND you are the acknowedged leader at the time (3 points)
Last to quit - you are the last player to surrender to the winning side (2 points)
Alliance win - your group of players win and you are all considered equal partners (2 points)
Minion win - your group of players win BUT you are not the leader (1 point)
Dead or run away - you are wiped out or surrender while others are still fighting (0 points)
I thought this might be a bit interesting because
A) the only way to clearly win is to kill everybody OR dominate your group
B) If an alliance does end up dominating then at the end they have to share victory with the last player facing them
C) Groups run by a Dictator will tend to break up towards the end of the game where you could get more points by leaving the group and being the last to be killed
It would be fairly easy to create a couple of rules to define how you claim to be a dictator and what constitutes surrender.
Anyone think this could work?
Joseph

Quite cool!
But perhaps there should be more "room" between the "rungs" of the "ladder". As in: 10 points to Solo, 8 to Dictator, 6 to LastEnemy, 4 to Committee, 2 to Minion, and 0 to Rabbit.
Dictators would have incentive to fight their own Minions. Good Solo fighters would have a reward even if they lost to Groupies, some Extra points could be awarded to special achievements, such as "more HWs conquered", or "more NAPs broken"...
The point system could be juggled to bend a particular game towards some situations and not others. Politics indeed!

First post seems to propose a new game with points for ranking the players in it... But since it is only a single game, how is that different from saying "this guy is first, this guy is second"..?
If you all mean some kind of ladder system then great, but who will take time to run it and write down all the results?

It's not a game proposal so much as a proposal for games in general, as far as I can see.
You don't necessarily need people to "keep score", the point is that it clearly defines the goals people should aim for.
The idea is to avoid people who can't win dropping, and to avoid alliances turning to stone.
EDIT: I do think there should be a limit of two Minions.
