Hi all out there ,
what do you mean ?
Want to start a game " Team Game 2vs2 " could find it in the ne games section and looking for the best settings and your meaning about it.
Should be a team game 2 vs 2 in a small univers what do you think about ....
... dense
... victory conditions
... races banned
... races left over points or other restrictions.
Hope there are some still out there

I'm not playing, but my suggestion would be a tiny packed universe and all four PRTs must be different.

I won't be playing, but I would suggest different PRTs and banning IT, JoaT, CA, and IS. Or better yet, let your opponents design your races for you. and vice versa.
tiny, packed, last team standing, AdvBBS, yes random events, near starting positions. just a thought. you've already played the other kinds of games, give this a try.

For race restrictions, it'd be fine IMO to have JoaT not allowed to have NAS, and CA forced to take BET. IT and IS have no special advantages in a tiny (IT's actually weaker). PP and SD, now, would be ones to watch out for. You might want to ban PP since close starting positions mean they can find your homeworld and bombard it very early. Alternatively, you could just rule that packets can't be thrown at inhabited worlds before 2450 - so PP could still scout and packetform, but not slam someone at 2405 and kill half their pop.
Distant starting positions would be a wise choice, it usually is regardless of anything else.

Very interesting - an exercise on how to build the baddest designs ever.
Since the starting positions will greatly influence the designs and game, you should specify if the universe will be modified to move the races together or not.

Whah.... I don't think you could design a race where one would not *eventually* win against the AIs... But what a pile of work...
not very interesting. I tested primitive designs against the AIs, and it was not even a fight... but it was a chore...
race design (and team race design here in particular) is one of the potentially most satisfying parts of playing this game. Why take that away again?
