Missed out the first time around?
Considering suicide?
Put that noose down, sparky.. it's not too late after all!
No, it says "noose", not "moose"... I have no idea how you might attempt suicide with a moose.
Answers on a postcard, please.
-----
I am proud to present....
ARMISTICE TOO!
Any ability of player welcome.
This is basically a carbon copy of Armistice One.
If anybody would like to get an idea of what to expect, take a peek at the Armistice One forum.
Dependant on how many players are interested, I might cram more players into the same sized universe, just to throw a little claustrophobia into the mix....
UNIVERSE
========
Medium, Packed, Moderate
Acc BBS, Galaxy Clumping
8+ Players Needed.
RESTRICTIONS
============
None! All PRTs, SRTs, TRTs, and small pets allowed!
CHEATS/BUGS
===========
Chaff, Split Fleet ONLY!
ALLIANCES
=========
No pre-game shenanigans please. Aliances are permitted, but only if forged within game. Also, no inappropriate behaviour in front of minors, thank you.
VICTORY CONDITIONS
==================
At any point after year 2500, the remaining players may mutually agree as to the winner. Or, alternatively, just keep playing until they grow old and die.
SPECIAL RULES
=============
A TRUCE will be in effect for the first 50 years.
Anybody breaking the truce will suffer the consequences.
The terms and punishments of this truce will diminish as time progresses.
GEN RATE
========

If you wish to play, just mail me with the usual details;

Pheeww, hopefully I'll have my racefile ready by Monday at the latest.
You could also consider using a bigger universe, say, Large, with "normal" or "dense" settings instead of "packed".
Whatever you do, don't trust "farthest" to do things evenly enough. Checking the HW positions will never hurt. And, if you're checking that, I'd beg of you to also check that starting minconcs aren't crippingly low.
So many Stars, so few Missiles!
In space no one can hear you scheme! Report message to a moderator

Calm yourself, dear boy!
Everything will be checked. As a matter of course, I will be checking both the starting positions and min concs, and if I'm not happy with either, I'll regen.
As for the universe settings.. I'm going to pretty much stick with things the way they are. I did a test gen this morning, and it gave me some really pleasing results...

Finally - if you are banned for inappropiate actions and then you uncontrolled empire, goes and does the same thing again (or something similar) what happens?
|
In my case I was given a turn's leeway to remove the offending colonie ship that was inadvertantly bombing a planet.
|
In fact, this has happened on two occasions so far in Armistice One.
What you have to bear in mind, is that, in the final analysis, penalties can be altered either way at my discretion... hopefully scoring a point here and there for good common sense.
...and yes, I am feeling the godly power, and yea verily, it doth feel gooood...
