I have recently gotten a new computer, and was attempting to install Stars! when much to my dismay, I discovered that I had lost my serial number quite a while ago. As many people her can attest, I have indeed played in several games, and I really did pay for Stars! ages ago.
Is there anything I can do, short of buying it again or keeping my old computer set up just to play Stars! on? Thanks in advance for the help.

Keep your old computer set up unil you get a new serial...
The turn files and stars.ini both contain a hash of not only your serial number but your computer's part IDs.
