Instaforming

If you could take instaforming away from CA and add it to the list of LRTs instead, how many RW points would you make it worth? A formula probably...

more for TT?
less per immunity?
0 for 3i?
more for wider habs?
narrow habs?
including the 1% chance of permanent change?
without?
more for JoaT?
less for HE?

I'd make instaforming one "click" in each hab per turn, not ALL as current settings are. However I'd leave instaforming for CA only, but would make the Orbital Adjuster an expensive LRT. That would IMO balance the game pretty well.

Back to your question: with standard settings I'd start with instaforming cost of 200. As TT gives 100% more planets compared to regular terra tech I'd add 50 points on that combo. A 1% permanent change would remain, because it comes into play only in long games (in 100 turns it gives an average 3.3 "clicks" in each field).

Regarding JoaT: if we're taking instaforming from CA, why not make 20% larger planets another expensive LRT? JoaT should retain pen-scanning ships.

If you ever played version 1.1 there were not PRTs, just LRTs. Instaforming wasn't an option CAs were not added till later.
