New standard game for newbie?

Hi. I am a newbie. That is, I have never played against humans before. But now I really want to! I don't want to make my debut in a tournament, since I can't promise to set of a whole year. So I want to join a standard game. Or I could try to host one myself, if some other dedicated newbies or intermediates are interested. Anyone want to play stars? Smile

The thing with the tournament is that you CAN drop out after the first game. I'm making room for 3 players to either drop out be dropped due to positioning (last 3 persons in ranking).

If you feel that after the first game you can go on, cool, but if you really want to play in a game, and there isn't any other games, feel free to join the tournament.

Since I hope to start the tournament sometime in March, I've got no problem on starting a game for some beginners that's got nothing better to do and doesn't want to comit to a tournament.

It'll be a small universe for a fastpaced game.
24 hour generations or as soon as everybody submitted.
