Test files required are .HST, .xy, .m & .h (the last file is not strictly necessary but I'd like it anyway). Give me your password if you used one.

The .hst file isn't needed for opening up the test. For the game itself I will be keeping up with all the files, just in case a replacement is needed. (None should be, ARs typically die really fast once they get started.) If no one objects after the game is done, I'll send the files to Gible for the wiki - they might be of interest to would-be ARs.

I understand that you haven't done this sort of thing much. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I haven't done it at all. Why does the color for my name have to be "tomato"? Crying or Very Sad

I assume that you will check that noone has a particularly bad starting position as I will. This can sometimes take a bit of doing so let me point out that you need not necessarily regen each time - it might be possible to just move a few planets around to achieve a good outcome. I use Map2xy to shift planets.

Doesn't that end up with the starting ships appearing to be at the homeworlds original location in the first year but behaving as if they were at the new location? Or has that been corrected? If not, I'd rather just regen.

I also have a mod that scans all planets upon initial generation so that you can see where HWs are & the value of other planets. This actually works for all races except AR but all you need to do is change the PRTs from AR to, say, JOAT until you have a good universe & then regenerate the same universe with PRTs changed back to AR.

Now this would be really handy. Please send it along with any necessary instructions on use.

If you want the mod &/or advice on (repeatable) universe generation, planet manipulation etc. let me know. Obviously, I can only help from a procedural pov since I will be playing in that game.

Just the mod should do. I haven't bothered with genning duplicated universes in many years but it was simple enough.
