Exactly. But kicks can have right here, that we should stick to no comm - only 4 players are confirmed(me, XAPBob,Kicks,Skoormit), so making opportunity to gang up isnt very wise. Comm game with only 4 players can quickly throw the game off balance, and force some to leave early - with that number of players that probably be very short game. I definitely dont want that. Even with Iztok, and 5 players - this is no better.
If we get more players - 6 or more, we can consider comm game, with the clause one ally allowed. That should prevent gangups and other nastiness. So i`m changing my vote to: no comm, until at least 6 players will be interested in this game.

Not if the "early leader" gets ganged-up on anyway. This can happen, even in a "no-ally, no-comm" setup.
The difference is that with these rules in place, luck and randomness of human decisions determines who (if anyone) falls prey to a gang-up.
That doesn't make it any less brutal, if you ask me. But it makes the deal a bit more fair. After all, don't we all submit our choices to Lady Luck at times? You may curse your luck, but you don't question the outcome, whatever it may be.

Indeed. But this is Stars!, not Roulette. There's plenty other games to go courting the elusive Lady. But here strategy is supposed to be a factor.
I appreciate your point of view about luck and no-comms games, and I agree with you. Sometimes I lose in a no-comms situation where in a +comms game maybe I would have had a better chance to even out the luck of the draw.
Different people like different things about Stars. I personally don't mind the luck factor inherent in no-comms, and I still enjoy other aspects of no-comms much more than +comms. That's why I post no-comms games.
But could we reserve this thread for the discussion of the posted game, among the people who are interested in playing in the game?
There's a great thread in the Bar where we can debate the merits of no-comms games in general.
Thanks!

I can't remember old password. Also my old email account no longer exists so I can't retrieve the password. I made a grand total of 7 posts under the old nick, I think I can live with such loss
